The special equipment, created by Kompozit–Praha, is based on the technological know-how of the company. It helped us to:

• to considerably increase the winding speed and production rate, compared with a conventional filament winding machine
• to provide even epoxy impregnation to ensure highest quality reinforcement
• to considerably reduce manufacturing material losses
• to make the production process of composite cylinders of different types and sizes automatic
• to minimize power consumption, size and quantity of manufacturing equipment

The KP production line employs mostly ready-made standard aggregates, automatic units and electronics from Global world-class manufacturers. The line realizes the most modern engineering concept of so-called “LEGO DESIGN’. It is assembled from preferably common used modern robots, elements and engineering blocks that makes the equipment much more cheaper and reliable.

The high-tech chip that is integrated into all cylinders allows for the easy exchange of information between the cylinder and manufacturing equipment. This provides far greater process control during the manufacturing process.
