Kompozit-Praha Company was founded in 2000 by a group of businessmen and aerospace scientists with a view to producing a low cost, high quality, composite cylinder to replace the traditional steel cylinders. A new generation cylinder got a brand name COMPOSAFER™ to demonstrate a unique composite product safety.

TODAY

Our striving for innovations, competence, and leadership allow us to implement the concept of "Higher Quality Driving Costs Down" during manufacturing of composite cylinders for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and designing of new products (LPG tanks for cars, high pressure cylinders for industrial gases, rescue equipment, etc.).

TOMORROW

There are more than one billion LPG cylinders in use in the World today, and 60 million more being manufactured every year. The world market capacity of high-pressure cylinders is more than 20 million, while in general there are about 240 million cylinders in operation.

The traditional technology of steel cylinder manufacturing, which has been being used during recent 100 years, have no further ways of improvement when speaking about the design, weight, and safety of pressure vessels. The rising demands being put by customers can be satisfied only through changing to modern technologies, and advanced structural materials.

Only 1.5 million composite cylinders of all types are supplied to the world market today, whereas the potential market size is 10 million cylinders every year.

The strategic aim of Kompozit-Praha Company is to make composite cylinders available to a wide range of consumers, and to have a leading position in the composite product market that is dynamically developing.
